Third Earth Tremor Shakes Cuba
Havana, Jan 10 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban National Seismological Station Network registered at 06:23 local time today an earth tremor of 3.9 magnitude on the Richter scale in the central region of the country.
No material and human damage were reported, and seismologists continue seeking new perceptible reports of the tremor.
The epicenter was located at 23.40 north latitude and 80.62 west longitude, 47.1 kilometers north of the town of Corralillo in the central province of Villa Clara, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
According to seismologists, several reports of perceptible earth tremor in Corralillo and Sagua la Grande, both locations in the province of Villa Clara, have been received.
