Cuba – Ukraine: Boundless Solidarity

The Chernobyl accident occurred in this Ukrainian city on April 26th, 1986 has been the most serious nuclear accident of the history, with the highest level reached in INES scale (level 7).
The amount of released radioactive material was estimated to be 500 times bigger than that released by the atomic bomb dropped in Hiroshima in 1945.

Thousands of people affected by the pollution have suffered and will suffer some health effects at any moment of their lif. More
